It is said that time is money. But this is vastly understated. Time is not money. Its MORE than money.
Lot of people when they don't have money, borrow money. they beg for money or some even go as far to steal it. But can the same person beg, borrow or steal time? When you have money, you can invest it. You can multiply money to get more money. But once you have time on hand, you can not multiply it. the best investment of time is - you invest it more wisely than you would invest money.
Its so magical that you wake up everyday and there you go - a box shows up in your hands that reads 24 hours.... spend it/invest it/waste it the way you want. yet, some of us kill hour after hour after hour as if it had no value. Someone said, like a magic, everyday, nature gifts you a precious thing called day, which is studded with 24 stunning diamonds.
how many days at work we have said.. "my gosh, i cant wait for 5 'o clock. day is so long. i am getting tired". i have done it for years. what i didnt realise, i have lost many many many many precious diamonds in each hour i lost. why not handle each one of those diamonds so carefully and wisely that it makes most sense?
Steven Covey said - "time management is a myth. You can't manage time. how can you manage it? it wont wait for you. You cant manipulate it. only thing you can manage is "yourself". Manage your activities and your priorities such that you get the most accomplished in the limited time you have.

My own thoughts: No one has ever wasted a lifetime all at once. They have all wasted one day at a time. No one has wasted a day at once. they have all wasted one hour at a time.
